Job summary

Louisville Water Company is seeking a Supplier Diversity & Procurement professional to help develop and manage diverse supplier programs, oversee data accuracy and reporting, and lead outreach and training initiatives. The role involves partnering with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to promote SBE opportunities and ensure compliant procurement practices.

The position requires experience in supplier diversity or procurement, strong analytical skills, and the ability to organize events

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; and
• Five (5) years of experience in Supplier Diversity, Procurement, or related field
• Valid driver's license
• OR
• Associate degree in Business, or related field
• One (1) year experience in Supplier Diversity, Procurement, or related field
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Interact with diverse and small business community through conferences, trade fairs, meetings, and other events to educate on Small Business Equity (SBE) Program and contracting opportunities at Louisville Water.
• Write, develop, and update work instructions for Procurement programs and processes.
• Perform complex statistical analysis of contractor financial reports and payment reports with subcontractors, and create reports on payments to certified minority, female-owned, or other diverse subcontracting spend.
• Provide oversight of data from contractors and Louisville Water accounts payable, verify data accuracy, and create reports for Leadership Shared Operating Goals.
• Develop ad-hoc data gathering and reporting for Supplier Diversity, SBE and related Procurement activities.
• Manage and promote the SBE Program and applicable Procurement programs.
• Develop and lead training for Procurement programs and related workshops and presentations.
• Recruit firms to participate in procurement opportunities and build contractor/supplier relationships.
• Manage Supplier Diversity Program Management System including configuration, upgrades, and reporting.
