Job summary

Leeward Renewable Energy is seeking a Procurement Specialist (P2) to support the sourcing, purchasing, and organization of HV, MV, and MPT Owner Supplied Equipment during development and construction. The role reports to the Senior Manager of Procurement and is an in-office role with hybrid flexibility.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in procurement for HV equipment within the energy sector, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities to manage timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Associates or BS in a related field.
• 2+ years of procurement and equipment purchasing experience in HV is a plus.
• Experience in the energy industry.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to drive procurement issues with urgency that affect schedules and budgets.
• Strong intrapersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of purchase agreements and contractual risks.
• Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain contacts with major equipment manufacturers and service suppliers including HV and MV equipment.
• Ensure competitive bids for equipment and service contracts and ensure pricing aligns with budgets.
• Maintain up-to-date inventory of Owner Supplied Equipment and provide updates on contractual timelines.
