Job summary

Averro is hiring a Procurement Specialist II to manage day-to-day purchasing for a fast-growing prefabricated construction manufacturer. You will handle quotes, PO placement, vendor management, and supplier onboarding with cross-functional teams in engineering and manufacturing.

The role emphasizes leading mid-level sourcing projects and ensuring on-time delivery, while handling shipments and invoicing. A strong background in procurement within manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Buyer experience with increasing responsibility, including construction materials purchasing.
• Bachelors degree (4-year) required.
• Self-starter comfortable owning vendor and sourcing work; must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day procurement of parts, materials, equipment, and services for manufacturing operations
• Solicit quotes, place purchase orders, and manage assigned vendors to ensure on-time delivery
• Qualify and onboard suppliers into procurement and accounting systems
• Lead mid-level sourcing projects with Procurement, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams
• Follow up on shipments and invoicing; escalate supply issues as needed
