Job summary

Saber Power Services in Rosharon, TX, is seeking a Field Services Procurement Specialist I to source, negotiate, and procure materials and services for electrical testing and maintenance projects.

You will collaborate with estimating, operations, and sales to ensure cost-effective purchases, timely delivery, and compliance with NETA standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, preferably in electrical services, construction and power testing industry.
• Familiarity with NETA-certified testing requirements and related equipment a plus.
• Strong negotiation, communication and vendor management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for materials, equipment, tools.
• Obtain competitive quotes, negotiate pricing, and ensure best-value purchasing decisions.
• Collaborate with the estimating team to support bid preparation with accurate material and vendor pricing.
• Partner with operations and project managers to fulfill material and equipment needs for ongoing field projects.
• Coordinate with sales to ensure procurement aligns with client expectations and project timelines.
• Monitor vendor performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Track and manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, and cost records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, NETA standards and safety regulations.

Field Service Procurement Specialist

Position Summary:

The Field Services Procurement Specialist will play a key role in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and services to support NETA-certified electrical testing, commissioning and maintenance projects. This position works closely with the estimating, operations and sales teams to ensure cost-effective, timely and high quality procurement that meets both project specifications and company standards.
