Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. (ADS) is seeking a Procurement Specialist to lead Direct Material purchasing across recycling and direct materials, including resins, gaskets, fittings, and related items.

The role emphasizes strong data analytics, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement to planning processes. You will partner with schedulers and category managers to optimize cost, cash flow and supplier performance, prepare purchase orders, and support negotiations while

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in Business, Supply Chain or related Operations field.
Experience in procurement or purchasing in heavy manufacturing is preferred.
Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, and data analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

Analyze MRP and forecast data to optimize material plans.
Create purchase orders, track costs, and evaluate invoices.
Use Oracle reports for analysis and ensure timely payments and supply dates.
Collaborate with project teams and suppliers to optimize cost, cash flow and service.
Monitor industry trends for process optimization opportunities.
Identify savings opportunities and support negotiations with stakeholders.
Document processes and create standard work and flow diagrams.
