Job summary
Siemens Mobility is seeking a Procurement Specialist / Strategic Plant Buyer for roles based in Wendell, NC or Heber Springs, AR. The position supports sourcing for manufacturing plants, partnering with cross-functional teams to secure supply, optimize costs, and mitigate risk in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities include supplier qualification, RFQ execution, capacity planning, and driving continuous improvement across procurement processes. Travel up to 10% is required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or 3+ years of procurement experience.
- Experience managing RFQs, supplier selection, and supplier performance.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

The pay range for this position is $54,835 - $94,003 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
