Job summary

TalentBridge is seeking a Procurement Specialist in Orlando, FL to drive day-to-day procurement operations for the New Unit Gas Turbine project. You will manage POs, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure schedules are met while maintaining full transparency for project success.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of direct procurement experience, strong SAP transaction know-how, and advanced Excel skills. Collaboration with global and local teams will be essential to optimize delivery and resolve

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of direct procurement experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP transactions and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proven ability to work in complex, fast-changing global environments and manage tight deadlines independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong collaboration, influence, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Purchase Order Management: Manage a dedicated work queue, ensure purchase orders are issued on time, and track execution through completion.
  • Supplier Coordination: Oversee a portfolio of suppliers, follow up on order confirmations, monitor quality compliance, negotiate price increase requests, and resolve invoicing/payment issues.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with global/local project management, MRP, and logistics teams to align on schedules, planning, and transportation/customs requirements.
  • Process Compliance & Systems: Implement and follow globally defined procurement guidelines and tools (e.g., compliant Purchase-to-Pay processes, IT systems, and online contract management tools).
  • Supplier Management: Support supplier qualification, evaluation, classification, and development initiatives.
  • Tracking & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation, monitor procurement tracking lists, and deliver weekly schedule progress reports.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners, you will resolve daily supply chain challenges, optimize delivery schedules, and maintain full transparency to support project success.
