Job summary

Quanta Consultancy Services Ltd in North Carolina is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support a landmark data centre project on a 12-month contract. You will lead procurement activities, coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Legal, and Finance, and help deliver a world-class facility in the US.

The role requires extensive experience in capital projects, sourcing, tendering, bid evaluation, and supplier management, with the ability to handle multiple packages and negotiate contracts

Qualifications

• Extensive procurement experience on capital projects.
• Experience with procurement in construction/EPCM/manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of sourcing, tendering, bid evaluation, and supplier management processes.
• Experience supporting contract administration and commercial management activities.

Responsibilities

• Execute procurement activities for construction, EPCM, and capital equipment packages.
• Lead sourcing events including RFQs, RFPs, tendering, bid evaluations, and supplier recommendations.
• Support contract development, negotiation, administration, and change management activities.

Procurement Specialist – US, North Carolina – Initial 12-Month Contract – Data Centres Support a landmark project as QCS partner with a global biologics organization to drive delivery of a cutting-edge facility in North Carolina. You will support a large-scale investment and play a pivotal part in bringing this world-class program to life. Our client is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to assist the delivery of their project based in North Carolina on an initial 12-month contract.

What you’ll deliver:

• Execute procurement activities for construction, EPCM, and capital equipment packages.
• Lead sourcing events including RFQs, RFPs, tendering, bid evaluations, and supplier recommendations.
• Support contract development, negotiation, administration, and change management activities.
• Manage commercial interactions with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Construction, Project Controls, Legal, and Finance teams.

Experience required:

• Extensive procurement experience supporting capital projects.
