Job summary

International Bank in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a Procurement/Sourcing Specialist for a 6-12+ month assignment on a hybrid basis. Vaccination is required for all applicants.

The role supports the Procurement department by developing sourcing plans, negotiating contracts, and managing requests across business lines. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of procurement experience, solid S/P2P knowledge, and proficiency with Google Workspace and ERP systems like Workday.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years demonstrated procurement/sourcing experience.
• Intimate knowledge of the S/P2P process.
• Experience using ERP systems (Workday).
• Working knowledge of the RFx process.
• Proficient with Google Suite (Email, Calendar, Drive, & Sheets).

Responsibilities

• Understand and support the Procurement Policy.
• Guide and support lines of business and service owners to elicit and understand purchase requirements.
• Develop and execute sourcing plans.
• Maintain the procurement plan.
• Negotiate, analyze, and manage contracts throughout the contract lifecycle.

Our client is an International Bank based in Midtown Manhattan. They are looking for a Procurement / Sourcing Specialist for 6-12+ month assignment. This role will be on a hybrid basis and all applicants must be vaccinated.

The bank seeks a highly motivated, detail-oriented, team player to support the Procurement department:

• Understand and support the Procurement Policy
• Guide and support lines of business and service owners to elicit and understand purchase requirements

• Maintain the procurement plan
• Negotiate, analyze, and manage contracts throughout the contract lifecycle

• Working Knowledge and understanding of Contract Terms and Conditions.

About You:

• 3-5 years demonstrated Procurement/Sourcing experience
