Staffmark Group is seeking a Procurement Specialist in New York, NY. This on-site role focuses on strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiations to support our Ads department.

You will partner with IT, Finance, Legal, and Security to shape the vendor roadmap, drive cost savings, and ensure alignment with business objectives. A relevant degree and substantial procurement experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in procurement or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• Fluency in Korean is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic sourcing and vendor management for the Ads department.
• Negotiate contracts to secure best pricing and terms while building vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, and Security to maintain a roadmap for vendors and onboarding/renewals.
• Evolve procurement strategy to align with Ads business objectives.
• Conduct market research and identify qualified vendors for required goods and services.
• Lead contract negotiation and execution for Ads to ensure favorable terms.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement processes per policy and best practices.
• Analyze procurement data to find cost savings and collaborate with multiple departments to optimize spend.
• Stay updated on procurement trends and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• You will play a vital role in driving strategic sourcing and vendor management for our Ads department.
• You will be responsible for securing the best possible deals on goods and services, ensuring efficient contract negotiation, and fostering strong relationships with key vendors.
• This role is a departmental leader who collaborates with IT, Finance, Legal, and Security to maintain, develop, and optimize the department's strategic road map for vendors, ensuring that vendor onboarding and renewals continually support the overall business's objectives.
• Continue to evolve and expand our comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with our Ad's business objectives.
• Conduct market research and identify qualified vendors for required goods and services.
• Lead the negotiation and execution of contracts, ensuring optimal pricing and terms for Ads.
• Manage vendor relationships, building strong partnerships that deliver mutual benefit. Oversee the procurement process, ensuring adherence to company policies and best practices.
• Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize spending. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various departments (Finance, Legal, etc.) to ensure a smooth procurement process.
• Stay updated on industry trends in procurement and sourcing best practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in procurement or a related field. Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and securing cost savings.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred. Fluency in Korean is a plus.
• Strong understanding of procurement principles, sourcing strategies, and contract negotiation techniques. Experience in managing and maintaining vendor relationships. Experience handling projects independently and efficiently, collaborating with multiple teams.
• Highly organized and adept at managing priorities and multitasking. Ability to navigate through ambiguity independently in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility, collaboration, resourcefulness, and positive attitude are the keys to success in this role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong relationships.
• Strong understanding of procurement principles, sourcing strategies, navigating complex privacy requirements, and contract negotiations.
• Highly organized and adept at managing priorities, multitasking, and working across a global team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with vendor relationship, customer onboarding, Field Service or administration preferred
• Experience with RFI/RFP procurement process end to end
• Organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task. Ability to work in a cross-functional, high-demand environment
• Collaboratively work with other departments. Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with service network as well as upper management.
• Team player that is willing to learn and grow within the Care team.
• Strong Microsoft Excel (including use of pivot tables and formulas), Word, and PowerPoint skills required
