# Sourcing Specialist – Electronic Components (PCB/PCBA)

## About the Role

Pixels on Target designs and builds embedded video processing systems for demanding applications — camera and display pipelines, custom PCBA hardware, and the electronic components that make them work. We're looking for a Sourcing Specialist to own procurement of PCBs, PCBAs, and electronic components end-to-end: building supplier relationships, negotiating cost, and keeping inventory levels aligned with program schedules. This is a hands-on role for someone who's comfortable talking to distributors and contract manufacturers one day and reading a BOM or schematic the next.

## Responsibilities

• Work directly with key suppliers and contract manufacturers to develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies that support existing programs and new product development
• Aggregate demand across active programs to build an accurate demand signal for PCB, PCBA, and electronic component procurement
• Act as the primary supplier interface for RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
• Partner with engineering and program management to run the RFx process and evaluation, then translate results into sourcing decisions
• Manage cost aggressively to ensure adherence to project-specific budgets and forecasts
• Develop should-cost models for competitive cost analysis
• Ensure suppliers are prepared to support prototype builds, NPI, and production ramp with the right equipment, capacity, and materials
• Maintain accurate inventory levels for components, PCBs, and PCBAs, flagging shortages or excess before they impact schedule
• Drive internal and external process improvements to enhance efficiency and implement cost-saving programs with suppliers
• Present sourcing recommendations, cost reviews, and supply risk updates to leadership
• Develop, manage, and maintain strong supplier partnerships
• Implement and maintain data/tracking tools to monitor supplier performance and delivery

## Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, material planning, production planning, supply chain management, or engineering; **OR**
• 6+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, material planning, production planning, or supply chain management in lieu of a degree

## Preferred Skills and Experience

• Technical procurement or planning experience with PCBs, PCBAs, or electronic components
• Board-level and electronic component commodity experience
• Hands-on experience with inventory management and cycle counting
• Proven track record of leadership and cross-functional collaboration
• Experience in production purchasing
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite; familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, SQL, or Access a plus
• Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Strong customer service orientation, both internal and supplier-facing
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to respond quickly in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment
• Conducts all activities with the highest integrity
• Prior experience reading datasheets, drawings, schematics, and blueprints

## Additional Requirements

• May need to work occasional irregular hours to coordinate with global suppliers across time zones
• Some travel may be required for supplier visits (extent to be defined)
• This position is based onsite at Sunrise — remote work not considered
