Job summary

Tomarco Contractor Specialties LLP, dba ISAT Total Support, is seeking a Procurement Specialist in Matthews, NC to source, purchase, and manage materials, equipment, and services for project operations. You will collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and project managers to ensure on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and quality.

Responsibilities include evaluating vendor quotes, creating purchase orders, negotiating terms, monitoring inventory, and maintaining procurement records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and purchase orders.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure materials, equipment, and services in accordance with company requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate vendor quotes, pricing, and proposals.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Create, issue, and track purchase orders.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities as needed.
• Ensure purchased materials meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
• Coordinate with project managers, operations teams, and other departments regarding procurement needs.
• Resolve supplier performance issues, discrepancies, and delivery concerns.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Analyze purchasing trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contract requirements, and procurement procedures.
• Assist with vendor qualification and performance evaluations.
• Prepare procurement reports and provide updates to management.

INTRODUCTION

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing materials, equipment, and services required to support business operations. This position works closely with vendors, internal stakeholders, and project teams to ensure timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and quality while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the construction, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial services industry.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and procurement software.
• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or similar certification.
• Experience with contract review and vendor negotiations.
