Job Description

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for centralized purchase ordering, order monitoring, applicable invoicing duties, supplier/market center communication & interaction, and project collaboration for Aramark Refreshments capital procurement. Relies on experience and judgment to accomplish goals and perform a variety of tasks.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing activities such as capital equipment requisition and purchase order processing; purchase order creation and submission to supplier partners
• Ensure price accuracy for all Aramark purchase orders
• Primary liaison between Aramark market centers and supplier partners regarding order placement, order status, delivery times, order changes, order cancellations, and invoice discrepancies
• Interact with Aramark Accounting Departments regarding invoice accuracy, reconciliation, and payment
• Work closely with Procurement Manager and other team members on necessary line of business projects and/or tasks
• Oversee multiple projects and/or tasks during any given time; responsible for all analytics of projects and tasks
• Adhere to the Aramark policies and procedures as well as the Health and Safety Standards

Qualifications

• Position requires a High School diploma or General Education degree (GED).
• Excellent written, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills including strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential
• Strong multi-task and prioritizing skills with the ability to work under pressure
• Solid mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills
• Strong experience using Microsoft Outlook and Excel required
• Knowledge of Oracle software database preferred
• Up to three (3) years of procurement experience preferred
