Position Overview:

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for executing and coordinating both local and international procurement processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that the company secures the best value in terms of cost, quality, and delivery time from its suppliers. The ideal candidate will bring strong negotiation skills, strategic sourcing knowledge, and a deep understanding of procurement best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and manage local and international procurement operations.
• Identify, assess, and select strategic suppliers aligned with company standards.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and purchasing agreements.
• Prepare and oversee purchase orders, ensuring alignment with technical and administrative specifications.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and service levels.
• Develop sourcing strategies to enhance cost-efficiency, lead time, and product/service quality.
• Define supplier KPIs, conduct performance evaluations, and generate reports.
• Foster long-term relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability and innovation.
• Conduct market research to uncover sourcing opportunities and monitor pricing trends.
• Recommend and implement enhancements to procurement policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams including production, logistics, finance, and legal to ensure purchasing alignment and efficiency.
• Manage supplier contracts and ensure legal and commercial compliance.
• Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, ethical, and sustainability standards in all procurement activities.
• Support internal and external procurement and vendor-related audits.
• Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with warehousing and logistics for optimal stock levels.
• Monitor procurement budgets and contribute to cost control initiatives.
• Work with the planning team to support production optimization and supply planning.
