Job summary

Entegee in Fort Walton Beach, FL is seeking a purchaser to support engineering and logistics through {intermediate} Excel analysis and BOM reviews. The role involves close supplier coordination, monitoring delivery schedules, and driving cost-reduction opportunities in a fast-paced aviation environment.

The successful candidate will read engineering drawings, analyze data, and ensure timely deliverables. 5+ years of experience in a corporate setting is required, with aviation experience highly

Qualifications

• Intermediate Excel skills required.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and analyze BOM.
• Aviation experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a purchaser and works closely with the engineering and logistics liaison.
• Monitor and report on delivery schedules of suppliers.
• Meet deadlines and deliverables, manage multiple projects and communicate recommendations.
• Work with vendors to receive quotes and present to leadership for decision.
• Assist in resolution of supplier issues.
• May manage inventory levels and ensure adequate stock of essential items.
• May support inventory control and receiving team using automated processes for tracking and audit trails.
• May support requirements for kitting.

Job description

• Proficiency in MS applications; must specifically have experience using Excel at an intermediate level.


• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience working in a corporate/commercial environment.


• Technically proficient in reading and comprehending engineering drawings; ability to analyze BOM.


• Ability to analyze technical data, designs, preliminary specifications, manufacturing limitations, supplier facilities, and parts/equipment availability.


• Works closely with suppliers to identify and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing


• Ability to identify cost reduction opportunities.


• Proficiency with personal computers and networking.


• Experience within the Aviation field is highly desirable.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
