Job summary

RAM Enterprise, Inc. seeks a procurement specialist to support our purchasing and supply chain activities. This role will obtain and evaluate supplier quotes, process purchase orders, monitor open orders, analyze pricing and lead times, and proactively resolve purchasing and supplier issues.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with ERP/MRP or purchasing systems, plus excellent communication and ownership to drive cost savings and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations based on price, lead time, availability, terms, and other factors.
• Create and maintain accurate purchase orders.
• Monitor open POs and follow up on late quotes, acknowledgments, and deliveries.
• Analyze pricing and identify discrepancies, unusual increases, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Investigate purchasing, pricing, quantity, and delivery issues through resolution.
• Identify alternative suppliers or sourcing options when needed.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier information.
• Communicate supply risks and potential problems early.
• Work with internal teams to understand requirements and resolve issues.
