Killdeer Mountain Manufacturing (KMM) is seeking a Procurement Specialist to monitor open orders with suppliers, relay status to stakeholders, and utilize the MRP system. You will contribute to process improvements and ensure timely communication across teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma and 2+ years in supply chain roles, with strong organizational and analytical skills, and fluency in English.

• Education requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience: 2+ years in supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills; ability to document and track data.
• Fluent in reading/writing/speaking English.

Responsabilidades

• Track open orders and report status to stakeholders.
• Send order lists to suppliers and obtain tracking numbers.
• Update dates and tracking numbers in the KMM MRP system.
• Assist with adjusting order schedules per customer demand.
• Execute delegated actions for NOE/GIDEP.
• Assist in year-end inventory cycle counts.
• Coordinate on-site supplier visits with QA, procurement, and compliance.
• Support SRB facilitation with Supplier Compliance Specialist.

Job Summary:

The Procurement Specialist will be solely responsible for tracking open orders with suppliers and manufacturers, and relaying that information to necessary stakeholders. This includes using and understanding the KMM MRP system. The position requires that the individual be committed to process improvements while providing accurate and timely communication. This includes, but is not limited to, the duties and responsibilities listed below.

Essential Job Functions:

• Tracking Open Orders:

  • Obtain tracking numbers from suppliers for shipped material.

  • Assist with moving in and/or moving out open orders in accordance with customer demand, as needed.

  • Take any delegated action for Notices of Escape (NOEs).
  
  
  • Take any delegated action for Government‑Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP).
  
  
  
  


• Year-End Inventory:
  
  
  
  • Assist in year-end inventory cycle counts.
  
  
  
  


• On‑site Supplier Visits:
  
  
  
  • Consults with Supplier Quality Coordinator, Procurement Coordinator, and Supplier Compliance Specialist on details required for on‑site supplier visits.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:
