Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking an experienced Procurement & Sourcing Manager to lead purchasing operations, build a strong procurement team, and drive cost-saving sourcing strategies across the organization.

The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on daily purchasing oversight, offering high visibility to senior leadership and cross-functional partners in multiple locations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in related field preferred.
  • Seven or more years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain management, or a related discipline.
  • At least three years managing procurement activities across multiple business units, operating companies, or geographically dispersed locations.
  • Demonstrated success negotiating regional or national supplier agreements that produced measurable cost reductions.
  • Experience managing centralized purchasing operations while supporting decentralized business locations.
  • Proven ability to establish purchasing controls, supplier performance metrics, and standardized procurement procedures.
  • Experience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent vendor negotiation, leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, and develop the Purchasing Coordinator team.
  • Oversee daily purchasing activities and ensure internal operational requirements are fulfilled.
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing programs designed to lower material and service costs.
  • Lead vendor negotiations involving pricing, contracts, rebates, and volume incentives.
  • Identify opportunities to consolidate purchasing across regions and business units.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers and internal operational partners.
  • Conduct supplier and pricing comparisons across geographic markets, regions, and product categories.
  • Research alternative products, vendors, and procurement channels to identify savings opportunities.
  • Monitor supplier performance based on pricing, quality, availability, and service levels.
  • Review and approve new material and service suppliers.
  • Identify and qualify new vendors while expanding alternative sourcing options.
  • Establish purchasing controls, standardized procedures, workflow improvements, and supplier performance measurements.
  • Improve purchasing visibility and address operational bottlenecks.
  • Provide internal teams with shipment updates and anticipated delivery timelines.
  • Create and process purchase orders through the organization’s ERP system and monitor orders through final delivery.
  • Provide senior leadership with procurement reporting, analysis, and support for special projects.
