Job summary

Southwest Florida Water Management District seeks a Procurement Services Student Intern to support the Procurement Services Office in Brooksville, FL. The role offers hands-on experience with purchasing and contracting activities and requires current enrollment in a college program and a high school diploma.

This on-site internship is not eligible for remote work, typically up to 25 hours/week, with training, development, and wellness programs available to enhance professional growth.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or other recognized program.
Maintain minimum GPA as stated (2.5 undergrad/3.0 grad).
Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Assist Procurement Services staff with collection and storage of vendor performance records.
Aide Procurement Specialists with solicitation process.
Scheduling appointments.
Administrative Reviews.
Research projects.
Other assignments as needed.
