Job summary

Buyers Edge Platform is seeking a Procurement Sales Agent for our Suwanee, GA office. You will manage procurement processes, engage with growers and distributor partners, and drive profitable purchasing activities.

You will handle high-volume calls, receive purchase orders, manage claims and collections, and coordinate with contracts and pricing teams to ensure timely delivery. A four-year degree or relevant experience is preferred; strong communication, problem solving, and MS Office skills are

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or suitable industry experience preferred.
• Experience buying and selling produce preferred.
• Strong professional communication and problem solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with quality customers/distributors to initiate new business.
• Sales, retention and growth of company assigned customers.
• Receive and confirm purchase orders via e-mail/phone.
• Handle customer claims and collections.
• High volume customer calling is a must.
• Monitor order statuses, delivery schedules, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers to confirm shipping details and resolve delivery or invoice issues.
• Collaborate internally with contracts and pricing teams.
