• Monitors performance of suppliers and tracks data to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.
• Negotiates with suppliers and analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and to determine lowest cost.
• Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment, and maintains necessary records.
• May prepare request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.

Tracks data to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes. Negotiates with suppliers and analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and to determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules. Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment, and maintains necessary records. May prepare request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with at least 5 years of professional experience.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

• Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
