Job summary

Flender seeks a Procurement Project Manager in Elgin, IL to manage end-to-end project-based procurement and supply chain activities. You will coordinate suppliers, logistics providers, and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time project execution and deliver proactive risk mitigation for customer projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project procurement, strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and ERP software proficiency. Full-time on-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 5+ years as a project/procurement professional.
• Experience with suppliers, freight providers, and internal stakeholders on customer-facing projects.
• Strong procurement, logistics, and contract administration knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project-based purchase orders from placement through delivery.
• Coordinate suppliers, logistics, and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time execution.
• Provide delivery plans, project status, and proactive risk identification.
• Interface with customers for delivery updates and issue resolution.
• Drive accountability to improve delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
