Job summary

• 3+ years of purchasing/procurement experience in electronics, PCBA, servers, or related manufacturing.
• Understanding of PCBAs, electronic components, BOMs, and electronics manufacturing processes.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and purchasing workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple suppliers, priorities and production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of server PCBAs, electronic components, and related materials from qualified suppliers.
• Issue and manage purchase orders, including pricing, quantities, delivery dates, and terms.
• Monitor supplier commitments and address shortages, delays, and supply constraints.
• Collaborate with Material Planning, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to align purchasing with production needs.
• Review MRP/ERP requirements and convert demand into timely purchase orders.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels while minimizing excess and obsolete materials.
• Support supplier selection, qualification, cost negotiations, and performance management.
• Negotiate lead times, MOQ, payment terms, and other commercial conditions.
• Track PCBA component availability and identify long-lead-time and allocation risks.
• Coordinate engineering changes, BOM updates, and substitutions with suppliers and internal teams.
• Ensure purchased materials meet specifications, quality requirements, and approved vendor lists.
• Support resolution of supplier quality issues, material discrepancies, and delivery problems.
• Develop supplier relationships and participate in supplier performance reviews.
• Analyze purchasing data, including cost, lead time, supplier performance, and delivery metrics.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure compliance with procurement policies.

This role is eligible for a flexible hybrid work arrangement following the successful completion of the initial 90-day onboarding period. Following the onboarding period, employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of three (3) days per week, with the specific in office schedule determined by the manager based on business and team needs. Must be from cloud, hardware solutions, automotive, electrical, manufacturing type of industry. We are currently seeking a Platform Procurement Program Manager to be based out of our Secaucus, NJ office or Georgetown, TX. The Platform Procurement Program Manager is an individual contributor who will be responsible for end-to-end supply-demand optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of purchasing/procurement experience in electronics, PCBA, servers, networking equipment, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of PCBAs, electronic components, BOMs, and electronics manufacturing processes.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and purchasing workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple suppliers, priorities, and production requirements simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
