Modine, a global leader in thermal management, seeks a Procurement Program Manager in Racine, WI to lead cross-functional programs supporting cost, quality, and delivery improvements. The role collaborates with Procurement, Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Operations to drive supplier readiness and successful production launches.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of procurement/program management experience in manufacturing, plus APQP/ISO9001 knowledge and strong communication and negotiation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, program management, engineering, supply chain, or manufacturing within a complex manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects.
• Working knowledge of APQP, ISO9001, supplier quality requirements, and manufacturing launch processes.
• Strong project management, analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project tracking tools; experience with ERP, sourcing, or procurement systems preferred.
• Ability to travel as needed to support suppliers, plants, and program activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement programs and cost-reduction initiatives from opportunity identification through implementation, ensuring alignment with business and financial objectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Procurement, Engineering, Supplier Quality, and plant personnel to achieve program milestones and deliverables, particularly acting as a liaison between Procurement and other groups.
• Manage supplier-related activities through applicable APQP phases, ensuring readiness for validation, launch, and production implementation.
• Support supplier selection and negotiations in partnership with Commodity Managers and key stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance, material cost savings, timing, quality, and supply risk; elevate issues and lead corrective actions when needed.
• Provide regular status updates to business and procurement leadership.
• Ensure successful implementation of approved sourcing changes, including stakeholder communication, supplier accountability, and transition planning.
