Trane Technologies is seeking a project leader for multiple procurement initiatives across our Thermo King Trailer platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop charters, drive productivity, and manage supplier relationships to meet cost and delivery goals.
You will forecast, report metrics, support NPD/VAVE efforts, and align commodity strategies with engineering and product management. Travel up to 20% may be required; English and Spanish are preferred.

This position can be based in Minneapolis, MN or Arecibo (PR).
Project leader responsible for multiple procurement projects across our Thermo King Trailer platform, working with cross-functional teams to build and execute project implementation plans to drive procurement strategies, productivity, and continuous improvement. Partner with Commodity teams and business to develop project charters/plans, lead ideation events, ability to breakdown benefits to the business between productivity and cost avoidance, and resource requirements. Responsible for supporting and leading active projects, participating in MDIs, eliminating roadblocks, supporting plant material and quality escalations and supporting work for financial month-end reporting. Identify gaps to goals and collaboratively develop and support countermeasures and activities to close the gap and exceed targets and elevate issues to leadership as appropriate. Support PGT goals by leading and executing resourcing, NPD, quality and VAVE projects. Liaison and work to align strategies between commodity management and business unit requirements.
Manage, coordinate and work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet project timelines and company financial goals.
Responsible for procurement goals and metrics including productivity, risk mitigation, supplier quality, on time delivery, and addressing any gaps in achieving targets.
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, finance or engineering preferred with minimum 5+ years of previous work experience in a diversified industrial company in the areas of procurement, supply chain, engineering, project management, and/or operations.
Strong understanding of the procurement processes at an operational and leadership level.
