Job summary

Parkland Health's Linen Services Department seeks a supervisor to oversee generation, maintenance, and distribution of purchasing and production records, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

The role requires an associate degree, several years in procurement/data, supervisory experience, and strong communication; you will lead staff, coordinate data systems, and improve processes to support hospital operations.

Qualifications

• Must have four years of procurement/production data experience, including two years of supervisory experience.
• Associate degree required (or equivalent).
• Must pass Intermediate-level Microsoft Word & Excel test with minimum 80%.
• Demonstrated ability to master production tracking and related software.
• Strong verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills.
• Good leadership and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate staff to maximize capabilities and service quality.
• Produce monthly linen utilization reports for hospital staff.
• Train staff on requisition forms to minimize processing time.
• Expedite and monitor purchase orders, including emergencies.
• Resolve PO problems and coordinate with Receiving and Accounting.
• Oversee data entry for productivity tracking and purchasing data.
