Our leading AI client is looking for their next contract Procurement Program Manager!
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Procurement Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives across Strategic Sourcing, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Extended Workforce, Travel & Expense, Corporate Card, Risk, Legal, Finance, and Enterprise Technology teams.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building structure from ambiguity, driving large-scale transformation initiatives, and partnering with stakeholders across all levels of the organization. You'll help shape the future of Procurement by improving processes, implementing scalable solutions, and leveraging automation and AI to drive efficiency.
What you will do
- Own integrated delivery plans for assigned programs, with clear scope, workstreams, milestones, owners, dependencies, resource needs and a credible critical path. Track risks, issues, decisions and scope changes through resolution.
- Partner with Procurement leaders to sequence work against business value, capacity and risk. Recommend when to start, defer or adjust initiatives and explain the operational impact of those choices.
- Translate business needs into process maps, requirements and acceptance criteria. Work with EPT, system owners and subject matter experts on workflows, data, integrations, controls, reporting and user experience.
- Drive implementation alongside the working teams: close requirements and decisions, coordinate integration testing and user acceptance, resolve readiness gaps, and prepare launch and operational handoffs.
- Develop clear written deliverables, including project updates, business cases, project charters, decision memos and related program documentation. Explain the problem, proposed approach, scope, business impact, resource needs and decisions required. Maintain lightweight governance and follow through on cross-functional commitments.
- Coordinate control-impact assessments, evidence requirements and remediation tracking with Finance Risk Management and control owners. Embed required approvals and testing in delivery plans.
- Partner with Enablement on training, communications, documentation and adoption. Work with system administrators and engineering teams on configuration and releases, with clear ownership and handoffs.
- Measure results using adoption, cycle time, manual effort, operational performance and control outcomes. Use AI and automation to improve planning, risk synthesis and reporting while validating outputs and protecting sensitive information.
Experience and qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant project or program management, business operations or transformation experience, with demonstrated ownership of complex cross-functional delivery through launch and measurable outcomes.
- Experience delivering transformation in procurement, finance operations, enterprise technology or a related business-operations domain. Procurement experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong planning, prioritization and dependency-management skills, including practical risk, issue, decision and change-control disciplines.
- Ability to turn ambiguous business problems into actionable requirements and partner effectively with product, engineering, systems and data teams.
- Strong writing and executive-ready presentation skills, with experience developing project updates, business cases, project charters and clear supporting documentation. Ability to tailor complex information for technical, operational and senior audiences and facilitate decisions.
- Hands-on experience with testing, process documentation, rollout and organizational adoption in a fast-changing environment.
- Practical use of AI or automation to improve a real program or operating workflow, with an understanding of inputs, human decisions, controls and measurable benefit.
Helpful experience
- Procurement and enterprise platforms such as Zip, Oracle, OneTrust, Salesforce, Ironclad, Navan, Brex or VNDLY; comparable systems experience is relevant.
- Finance or procurement systems implementations, supplier lifecycle improvements, internal controls, audit readiness or segregation-of-duties initiatives.
