Job summary

Mixpanel is seeking a Procurement Operations Lead to manage a two-person team, own organizational spend, and maximize vendor value. The role combines strategic direction with hands-on process improvement, education, and cross-functional collaboration to build a world-class procurement program.

The successful candidate will drive AI-enabled processes, mitigate risk, and partner with Finance, Security, IT and Legal to deliver scalable procurement solutions across the company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in procurement or procurement management, including leadership.
• Experience with SaaS vendors and vendor management.
• Experience with procurement improvement initiatives.
• Strong data management and analytics skills.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building.
• Ability to guide teams through change with clarity and empathy.
• Comfort presenting to C-suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of two, coaching through skill-building, career growth and performance.
• Lead execution of complex procurement projects across functions.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Security, IT and Legal on purchasing processes.
• Build strategic relationships with vendors to maximize value and discounts.
• Lead initiatives to implement procurement process improvements using AI and tools.
• Provide procurement process training for Mixpanel employees.
• Shape and communicate a vision for the procurement team aligned with goals.
