Job summary

Mixpanel in San Francisco seeks a Procurement Operations Lead to manage a two-person team and own the procurement program across the organization. You will optimize spend, maximize vendor value, and streamline processes while educating partners about procurement strategies and tools.

You will partner with FP&A, Security, IT and Legal to improve purchasing workflows, mitigate risk, and drive value through AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in Procurement (Specialist or Manager)
• Experience with SaaS vendors and procurement improvements
• Strong data management and analytics skills
• Ability to negotiate and maintain relationships internally and externally
• Proven coaching and people-management experience
• Ability to guide teams through change with clarity and empathy
• Comfort presenting to C-suite and senior partners

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a two-person procurement team.
• Drive complex procurement projects across functions and set priorities.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Security, IT and Legal on purchasing processes and improvements.
• Build strategic vendor relationships to maximize value and leverage discounts.
• Champion procurement process improvements and apply AI-enabled tools where appropriate.
• Provide procurement process training for Mixpanel employees.
• Articulate a clear vision for the procurement function aligned with Operational Finance goals.
