Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of relevant procurement experience required.
• Graduate Degree with 4+ years of related experience preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, 10 years of related procurement experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and review the daily work of the general procurement and expediting team to meet near-term plans and performance expectations.
• Supervise expeditors, providing day-to-day direction, prioritization, and workload oversight.
• Maintain a reduced individual buyer workload while leading the team and ensuring continuity of procurement operations.
• Communicate procurement policies and processes with internal customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to gain cooperation.
• Drive improvements to procurement processes, systems, and solutions to enhance team efficiency and supplier performance.
• Analyze complex procurement issues involving multiple priorities and develop effective solutions via data gathering and judgment.
• Set team goals with direct impact on immediate operational results for the department.
• Support talent management activities including input on hiring, performance, and development decisions for direct reports.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience.

Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.

In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
