Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is actively seeking a Sr Assoc, Procurement to manage supplier relations and drive strategic sourcing for multiple commodities. This role requires strong negotiation skills, ERP experience, and compliance with FAR and company policies.

Responsibilities include creating PO packages, leading supplier negotiations, and identifying cost-reduction opportunities to support production schedules and supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience; graduate degree with 1 year is also acceptable; in lieu of a degree, 4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Procure and manage assigned commodities to enable production; issue and maintain purchase orders.
• Create PO packages with required documentation (Price Analysis, Justification Worksheet, PPV, etc.).
• Lead supplier negotiations and supplier selection process.
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities and overall material cost control.
• Manage supplier relationships and develop supplier base strategies.
• Address Non-Conformances, invoicing, receipt discrepancies, terms and conditions, and service levels.
• Support marketing requests by analyzing material costs for proposed projects.
• Guide the company on key events in selected commodities affecting business plans.
• Source new suppliers and processes; stay updated on developments.
• Maintain documentation control in compliance with FAR and company policies.
