Job summary

Southland Industries, Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Support role based in Horsham, PA. You will assist the purchasing team with placing orders, tracking deliveries, and maintaining supplier pricing in the ERP system to ensure timely and accurate processing.

Responsibilities include coordinating with suppliers, processing receivers, and supporting RFQ/RFP activities. A high school diploma and at least 1 year in purchasing or customer service are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in purchasing or customer service support.
• Basic time management skills with ability to handle multiple projects.
• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient PC use: spreadsheet, word processing, database software; experience with ERP software (COINS preferred).
• Ability to work in a continuous improvement environment.
• Ability to collaborate with suppliers, customers, project management, field staff, and accounting.

Responsibilities

• Assist Purchasing team with placing orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers to follow delivery dates and back orders; inform teams of issues.
• Maintain current supplier pricing files in ERP and purchasing spreadsheets.
• Assist with processing material receivers and coordinating bulk deliveries to meet deadlines.
• Assist with processing material returns and credits.
• Support RFQ and RFP processes to obtain pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
