Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Cedar Rapids is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to manage ingredient orders and inventories for production. You will closely coordinate with production, warehouses, and transportation to ensure timely deliveries and stock accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and computer literate.
• 2+ years of procurement experience in materials planning and ordering.
• Strong math and computer skills; familiarity with SAP.
• Able to learn SAP and other systems and work in an inventory environment.

Responsibilities

• Order and maintain inventories on ingredients.
• Coordinate with production, warehouses, and transportation to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Follow up on procurement issues with corporate daily.
• Assist the production planner on special projects related to ingredients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
