Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior procurement leader to guide strategic sourcing and program management across the organization. The role directs procurement activities, leads multi-project RFQ/RFP efforts, and ensures alignment with enterprise targets.

You will drive cost-saving initiatives, oversee contract negotiations, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to optimize warehouse and operations procurement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in procurement or related roles.
  • Minimum 3 years leading large programs or teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Ability to work in non-climate-controlled warehouse conditions as required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall direction and guidance to the organization’s procurement activities.
  • Provide strategic leadership and management for individuals supporting procurement projects, programs, and systems.
  • Oversee multiple RFQ/RFP projects simultaneously.
  • Monitor category spending and recommend new cost-saving initiatives.
  • Provide final negotiation support for new contracts.
  • Oversee transition and rollout of agreements to operational leaders.
  • Develop KPIs and OKRs to track compliance with procurement initiatives.
  • Lead talent selection and development initiatives and foster associate engagement.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Human Resources, Sales, and Finance.

  • Provide overall direction and guidance to the organization's procurement activities
  • Provide strategic leadership and management for individuals supporting procurement projects, programs, and systems
  • Support company growth, savings, and transformational initiatives
  • Develop departmental strategies aligned with enterprise targets
  • Ensure targets and operational needs are met
  • Ensure operational excellence through standardization, risk assessment, and review of key metrics
  • Oversee multiple request-for-quote/request-for-proposal projects simultaneously
  • Monitor category spending and recommend new cost‑saving projects
  • Provide final negotiation support for new contracts
  • Oversee transition and rollout of executed agreements, contracts, MSAs, and programs to operational or functional support leaders
  • Develop KPIs and OKRs to track compliance with procurement initiatives
  • Lead talent selection and development initiatives and foster associate engagement
  • Work within a complex matrixed environment
  • Collaborate with Operations, Human Resources, Sales, and Finance
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Logistics, or equivalent fields is required
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience
  • Minimum of 3 years leading large programs and/or teams in a matrixed environment
  • Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during warmer and colder months, ranging from mild to moderate as required
