Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Procurement Manager to support the C5ISR prototyping and integration efforts at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and JBMDL, NJ. This hybrid role requires coordinating with staff on-site three days a week and two days remotely.

The role leads a team of procurement specialists and ensures compliant materiel acquisition, including RFPs, SOWs, and supplier contracts, leveraging Costpoint/Onpoint for program support.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma (preferred BS/BA degree).
• 12 years’ experience (8+ in the Defense Industry).
• Active Secret US Government Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 5-7 procurement specialists.
• Serve as a technical expert in materiel procurement and acquisition for project execution.
• Produce and review specifications, solicitations, RFPs, RFQs, and sourcing research.
• Ensure compliance with guidelines, policies, and internal controls.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations.
• Work in office on base, hybrid: 3 days on-site/2 days remote.
• Conduct weekly staff meetings and monthly MPRs.
