Job summary

KE is hiring a Procurement Coordinator to support the Procurement Department with transactional activities, supplier onboarding, and document management. You will reduce the administrative burden on Category Managers by handling POs, onboarding, and records with accuracy.

The role focuses on supplier communications, lead times, and procurement milestones, requiring strong organization, Excel skills, and the ability to work on site in Goodhue, MN up to five days a week.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Operations, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of procurement, purchasing, operations coordination, project administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience managing documentation, records, and administrative workflows.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Experience with document management or ERP systems preferred.
  • On-site in Goodhue, MN up to 5 days/week.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational and administrative support to the Procurement team by coordinating procurement activities, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with company processes and standards.
  • Support lifecycle of procurement transactions: purchase orders, supplier communications, contract documentation, vendor onboarding, and procurement system administration.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to collect, organize, and maintain required documentation, certifications, and onboarding requirements.
  • Monitor and communicate material status, lead times, delivery schedules, and procurement milestones while escalating risks, delays, or issues.
  • Manage procurement-related documentation, submittals, records, and document control processes to ensure accuracy and audit readiness.
  • Facilitate communication between Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Estimating, Legal, Finance, Project Management, and external partners.
  • Maintain procurement data, reporting tools, dashboards, and tracking systems; support process improvements.
  • Assist with sourcing, estimating, supplier pricing requests, reporting, analytics, and other procurement activities to increase strategic capacity.

Job Description
Purpose

The Procurement Coordinator supports the Procurement Department through execution, coordination, document management, supplier onboarding, reporting, and administrative functions that increase the strategic capacity of Category Managers.

This role serves as the operational backbone of the Procurement organization by managing transactional and administrative activities associated with purchase orders, supplier documentation, vendor onboarding, material tracking, project support, and procurement systems.

The primary objective of this position is to reduce the administrative burden on Category Managers, enabling them to focus on supplier negotiations, sourcing strategy, forecasting, estimating support, category development, supplier performance management, and supply chain risk mitigation.

  • Maintain procurement data, reporting tools, dashboards, and tracking systems while supporting continuous process improvement and organizational efficiency initiatives.
  • Assist with sourcing, estimating, supplier pricing requests, reporting, analytics, and other procurement activities that enhance visibility, support decision‑making, and increase the strategic capacity of Category Managers.
Qualifications
Who We’re Looking For:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Operations, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, operations coordination, project administration, construction administration, or a related field preferred.

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $65,000 per year, which reflects a good‑faith estimate based on market data and internal equity.
