Job summary

Jobtailor, based in Kansas, seeks a Procurement Manager to lead strategy and the purchasing team, aligning processes with service profitability across multiple projects.

You will drive supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and implement Procure to Pay improvements while coordinating with IS and Finance to ensure accurate billing and insightful reporting.

Responsibilities

• Execute procurement strategy and develop purchasing systems to meet service and profitability goals.
• Lead Purchasing Agents and drive best-in-class procurement processes, people, and capability improvements.
• Develop and implement processes for entering, maintaining, and updating purchase orders, data, and pricing in the system.
• Develop continuous improvement processes for Procure to Pay and coordinate with IS and Accounting resources.
• Integrate purchasing system with billing system to ensure material for service and T&M projects is billed profitably.
• Prepare and disseminate reporting on purchasing system usage, consumption, and vendor data.
• Assist Director of Procurement with establishing key supply chain relationships to support EnPTi goals.
• Develop, negotiate, maintain, and analyze blanket agreements/preferred material pricing contracts.
• Implement, monitor, and analyze procurement metrics including pricing, customer satisfaction, and order volume.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Five to seven (5-7) years in successful operations management with appropriate industry experience
• Experience with leading people or teams toward a common set of goals or objectives
