Caterpillar Inc. seeks candidates for its three-year Procurement Leadership and Technical Development Program (LTDP), a rotational program designed to accelerate entry-level development in Procurement.

You will gain broad exposure to the organization, work on global projects, and network with leadership across Caterpillar. The track emphasizes supplier relationship management, supply chain integration, and manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Completed degree from a university/college by the start of the program in Business/Supply Chain Management, Industrial/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, or other relevant supply chain degrees.
• Minimum cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.8/4.0 (no rounding) at current institution.
• Must be willing to travel and relocate domestically based upon business needs for each rotation and for post-program assignment.
• Program Start Date: June 2027.

Responsibilities

• Category Buyer: Directs development and implementation of sourcing strategies across site/region/worldwide.
• Facility Procurement Professional: Manages procurement activities for a facility to deliver procurement excellence.
• Supplier Development Engineer: Advises and leads in ensuring a robust quality plan within the supplier network.
• Procurement Professional: Leads process improvement and project execution within Procurement.
