Job summary

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc. is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead all purchasing activities across the organization, driving modernization of procurement processes within a new ERP system.

This role focuses on cost savings, supplier relationships, and efficient procurement across 29 branch locations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business and extensive experience in procurement leadership, with strong negotiation skills and ERP/D365 knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; professional certification preferred (CPP, CPM, SPSM).
• Experience in purchasing/procurement or supply chain with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship skills.
• Knowledge of ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) experience preferred.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Actively support and optimize the ERP procurement system, driving continuous improvements and user adoption.
• Update and modernize purchasing policies, procedures, and programs for efficiency and compliance.
• Manage, mentor, and develop the procurement team and identify future needs.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships, negotiating favorable pricing and terms.
• Analyze vendor payments and expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure compliance.
• Monitor supplier performance and develop new sources as needed.
• Review bids, negotiate, and establish favorable terms; oversee blanket purchase orders.
• Collaborate with 29 branch locations to improve efficiency and cost reduction.
• Review invoices and ensure pricing integrity; ensure policy compliance.
• Travel within the dealership territory to support branches and relationships.
• Handle special projects contributing to department success.
