Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking a motivated and data-driven Procurement Manager to support the Americas data center construction space.

You will create and implement sourcing strategies for services categories, collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to drive efficiencies, reduce risks, and costs. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, strategic, and entrepreneurial, with the ability to influence suppliers and teams at all levels.

Qualifications

• Experience driving large-scale process improvements with measurable value.
• Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
• Analytical, financial and quantitative skills with data to back up assumptions.

Responsibilities

• Drive competitive sourcing events — develop RFP strategies, evaluate qualifications, and lead award recommendations for large construction programs.
• Negotiate and manage contracts — structure amendments, negotiate change orders, and hold GCs to cost, schedule, and safety commitments.
• Partner cross-functionally — work with Construction, Design, Legal, Finance, and Program Management to remove blockers and hit milestones.
• Analyze cost and risk — benchmark GC pricing, identify savings opportunities, and flag commercial risks before schedule impacts.
• Influence at scale — develop procurement playbooks, contract standards, and lessons learned across AWS data center projects.
