Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a data-driven Procurement Category Manager to support the Americas data center construction space.

The role requires strong supply chain and procurement skills, analytical and financial acumen, and the ability to drive large-scale improvements. You will create sourcing strategies, collaborate with internal partners and suppliers, and lead negotiations to reduce costs while ensuring on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement, supply chain, contract management, lease administration or operations experience
• 5+ years of strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, contract management, process improvement, financial analysis
• Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python)
• Experience in global supply chain management and cross-functional leadership in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Create and implement sourcing strategies within construction services to drive efficiencies and cost savings
• Collaborate with internal business partners and suppliers to reduce risks and improve delivery
• Develop mechanisms and metrics to hold suppliers accountable for performance and delivery
• Lead competitive bidding, negotiations, and data analysis to inform category decisions
