Job summary

Amazon is seeking a strategic procurement leader to develop and implement sourcing strategies for data center construction, manage supplier relationships, and optimize costs across a global supplier network. You will drive RFPs, contract negotiations, and performance metrics in a fast-evolving infrastructure environment.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to align sourcing with business goals, focusing on value, risk mitigation, and operational excellence across the AWS data center

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in best-in-class procurement processes (category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, or equivalent).
• 5+ years of data analysis using Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for construction services.
• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and competitive landscapes.
• Manage RFPs for data center construction scopes with GC, subcontractors, and material/equipment suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to drive efficiency and performance.
• Create robust metrics and accountability mechanisms for supplier performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
