Job summary

Island Energy Services (IES) in Hawaii seeks a Procurement Specialist to manage procurement and purchasing, lead the CLM program implementation, and ensure compliance with company policies. The role emphasizes accuracy, prioritization, and working across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive procurement experience, advanced MS Office skills, and a background in heavy volume purchases within energy-related industries.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in heavy volume procurement.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory management, logistics coordination, supplier management, and invoice reconciliation preferred.
• Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare letters, RFPs, RFQs, purchase orders, contract amendments, and solicitations.
• Coordinate bid package activities to ensure procurement processes are followed.
• Source materials, equipment, and services by obtaining quotations and negotiating terms.
• Expedite purchases and monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, freight, and inventory movement to support operations.
