Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director – Procurement Management in the USA, focused on onshore wind, solar PV, BESS, and transmission/distribution. You will lead procurement strategies, oversee tender processes, and negotiate main contracts while coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver complex energy projects.

Role requires significant US project procurement experience, strong negotiation skills and a university degree in a relevant field.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in procurement and/or contracts management on US onshore wind, BESS and/or utility-scale solar PV projects.
• Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities.
• Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and manage complex commercial processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and execute procurement and tender strategies for major project packages.
• Lead the complete procurement process including RFIs, RFPs, proposal evaluation, award recommendation and contract finalization.
• Draft and negotiate contracts including turbine supply, service, consultancy, supply and installation contracts.
• Coordinate with commercial, technical, financial and legal experts to ensure client governance compliance.
• Maximize value in terms of quality, price and schedule while minimizing risk.
• Manage vendor relationships, market intelligence, and contract lifecycle from development to execution.
