Job summary

GAF Materials Corp. seeks a Procurement Supervisor for the Kremlin plant in Wisconsin to oversee purchasing, supplier relations, and storeroom operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating procurement activities, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, and optimizing inventory levels to minimize costs and improve efficiency. The role reports to the Site Manager and requires strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Graduate with previous procurement experience.
• Preferred: College degree and/or trade certification; previous procurement and supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of inventory control techniques and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct all plant purchasing in compliance with corporate policies.
• Purchase, lease, and rent supplies, machinery, vehicles, and parts.
• Negotiate with suppliers for cost-effective sources and quality goods.
• Develop new procurement sources to improve cost-effectiveness.
• Manage storeroom inventory and cycle counts; ensure accurate data.
