Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks a Procurement Specialist to develop procurement guidelines aligning with regulations and the school nutrition program’s operational goals. You will manage ordering schedules, review inventories, and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure timely purchasing and efficient operations.

The role emphasizes vendor communication, data accuracy, and strong knowledge of food trends.

Competenze

• Purchasing experience (1–3 years) preferred depending on degree or training.
• Strong knowledge of food and inventory trends with focus on operations.
• P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience desirable.
• Accurate data-entry skills and detail-oriented.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Serv Safe certification highly desirable.
• Knowledge of school nutrition/food industry purchasing preferred.

Mansioni

• Maintains an order schedule to ensure products are in stock.
• Receives and collects product orders from departments.
• Tracks and places daily orders with vendors.
• Reviews orders before submitting to vendors.
• Monitors inventory levels and compares to orders.
• Reviews usage projections and aligns with orders.
• Communicates with vendors daily in a professional manner.
• Maintains vendor and client relations.
• Collaborates with departments for smooth daily operations.
• Fulfills purchasing and organizational goals as needed.
