Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an Intermediate level buyer in the United States to plan and procure materials to meet customer requirements at an optimal cost. You will maintain inventory levels, address shortages, and support customer demand while engaging suppliers and managing performance to align with business goals.

Key duties include processing purchase orders, tracking orders, and generating reports on purchasing activity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in purchasing, supply chain management, or equivalent functional experience required.
• 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchase orders, supplier information, and inventory data.
• Process purchase orders, including creating, updating, and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate supplier communication and manage relationships.
• Generate and distribute weekly and monthly reports on purchasing activity, inventory status, and order tracking.
• Assist NPDI project team for new product launch.
