Job summary

LHH is seeking a Buyer to manage procurement activities in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will combine purchasing execution with demand forecasting, inventory analysis, and cost management to ensure product availability and service excellence.

Responsibilities include creating POs, analyzing inventory trends, managing supplier relationships, and collaborating with operations, logistics, and finance teams to resolve issues and optimize costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, or buyer experience.
• Strong inventory analysis, forecasting, and supplier management skills.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data analysis).

Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders from planning through receipt.
• Analyze inventory levels, demand forecasts, and purchasing trends to support replenishment decisions.
• Manage supplier relationships, pricing, lead times, and performance.
• Collaborate with operations, logistics, customer service, and finance teams.
• Resolve shortages, delivery issues, and invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate purchasing data within ERP systems.
• Analyze supplier performance, purchasing KPIs, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Evaluate landed costs and support sourcing initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with company policies.
