Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Maintenance Clerk to manage purchasing of materials for production and to handle all related tasks in a timely, safe, and accurate manner.

The role covers placing orders, processing work orders for forklifts and clamp trucks, creating POs, receiving supplies, maintaining vendor files and price records, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Authorized to work in the U.S. preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, manuals, and contracts.
• Write routine reports and correspondence and communicate with vendors and employees.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and email; able to manage invoices and paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for materials and supplies in a timely manner.
• Handle work orders for Forklifts and Clamp Trucks.
• Create purchase orders for supplies and work orders.
• Receive supplies and parts and deliver required paperwork to accounting.
• Maintain vendor files and inventory control records.
