Job summary

DP World in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Procurement Intern for a 10-week Summer 2027 program. The internship provides hands-on experience supporting Procurement projects across DP World’s Americas regional organization, including vendor onboarding and PO processes tied to the Oracle implementation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Business, Finance, or related field; rising seniors preferred.
• Interest in procurement, supply chain, or related functions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and geographic locations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a project‑oriented environment.
• Prior Oracle/ERP/procurement systems experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support Oracle implementation procurement activities, including vendor onboarding and PO processes.
• Assist with vendor setup, documentation, data collection, and validation.
• Support testing, documentation, and process improvements for procurement workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in Charlotte, the Americas, and other countries as project needs require.
• Track project activities and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Assist with additional meaningful procurement projects and initiatives based on project status and business priorities.
• Prepare reports, analyses, and presentations as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
